After many years of development and construction of the lisocore® production plant, it can officially be put into operation.

AT INTERZUM FOR THE FIRST TIME

lightweight solutions presents itself for the first time at the world’s leading trade fair for furniture making and interior design in Cologne.

SCHATT BECOMES SHAREHOLDER

2010

Founding of lightweight solutions GmbH by the shareholders Schatt Holding and Schäpers Holding. This enables the investments required to successfully launch lisocore® on the market.

2011

MOVE TO
BAD AIBLING

The technology park in the city district Mietraching becomes the new company headquarters.

lightweight solutions is awarded the innovation prize for the European Forest-Based Sector

2010

SUBSIDIES

A completely new production process is created with the help of subsidies from the Environmental Innovation Program of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety.

LWS MASCHINENBAU GMBH

Together with lws maschinenbau GmbH, which is 100% owned by lightweight solutions, the brand new production facilities required to manufacture lisocore® are realised.

FOUNDING OF LIGHTWEIGHT SOLUTIONS e.K.

Michael Schäpers is the inventor of the lisocore® lightweight construction material and founds the company in Rosenheim during his studies.
